This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and safeguard your information when you use the Thoth mobile application (the "App").

1. Information we collect

Information you provide

• Account information: when you create an account, we collect a unique user identifier. If you link an Apple or Google account, we receive your name and email address from that provider.
• Username: you may choose a display name for your profile.

Information collected automatically

• Device information: device type, operating system version and device identifiers.
• Usage data: game progress, stages completed, cards unlocked, hints used and coins earned.
• Analytics data: app interactions, session duration and feature usage.

Third-party services

• Supabase: our backend for sign-in and data storage. Stores your account and game progress.
• RevenueCat: manages subscriptions and in-app purchases. Processes purchase history and subscription status.
• Google AdMob: shows advertisements. May collect the advertising ID, device information and ad interaction data.
• Google Firebase Analytics: measures how the App is used so we can improve it.
• OneSignal: delivers push notifications. Collects device tokens and notification interaction data.
• Sign in with Apple / Google Sign-In: if you choose to sign in with them, we receive basic profile information.

2. How we use your information

• Provide and maintain the App
• Save your game progress across devices
• Process in-app purchases and subscriptions
• Send push notifications, with your consent
• Show advertisements, personalized only where you allow it
• Analyze usage to improve the App
• Respond to support requests

3. Subscriptions

Thoth offers an optional auto-renewing subscription, Thoth Pass. Prices are shown in the App before you buy and may vary by country. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your App Store or Google Play account settings.

4. Data sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

• Service providers that help us operate the App (listed in section 1)
• Advertising partners to show ads. You can opt out of personalized ads in the App's consent settings or your device settings.
• Authorities, when required by law or to protect our rights

5. Data retention

We keep your data while your account is active or as needed to provide the App. Account data and game progress are stored until you delete your account.

6. Your rights

You can request access to, correction of or deletion of your personal data, and you can turn off push notifications or personalized ads at any time.

Deleting your account

1. Open Thoth
2. Go to your Profile
3. Tap "Delete Account" and confirm

You can also email support@playthoth.de with the subject "Account Deletion Request". Deletion removes your profile, username, game progress and unlocked cards. Apple and Google keep their own purchase records.

7. Children

Thoth is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have, please contact us and we will delete it.

8. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and at rest. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.

9. International transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. We use appropriate safeguards for these transfers.

10. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes are posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
